Hi, and welcome to our class page.  This is where you will find all the information you will need to know about what your child is learning in school, and other useful information. 

My name is Mrs Reed, and I've been a teacher at Crindau for the past ten years.  I am the lead teacher for Humanities and I am highly interested in History and Geography, so this is perfect for me - but the children will probably tell you, my favourite thing to teach is Maths.  I have been lucky enough to work in all year groups in juniors, but I love the interaction and fun that comes with teaching Years 5 & 6.  

Over the past few years, there have been a number of disruptions to our school life, but as we look forward, we are all hoping for a much more settled start to September 2022, and then for the year ahead. I will endeavour to help your child settle into this new Junior year. 

Our P.E. sessions will be held every week on a Wednesday, and it is important that all children have the correct kit in school. This is a white t-shirt, black shorts or long bottoms and trainers.  As of this year, children can wear their P.E kits to school on the Wednesday. They can wear a school jumper or cardigan, with black tracksuit bottoms on top when the weather is colder. 

All children have been provided a bottle in class, which allows the children to drink water through the day.  They are also invited to bring healthy snacks to enjoy at breaktime.
