Year 4 - Mr Beddow
Year 4B.
It is my pleasure to be working with Year 4 this academic year. The class have really settled in well to life in Year 4, showing a mature approach to their learning, around the classroom and around the school.
We've spent the first few weeks of our new term talking about many aspects of school life, sharing ideas about school rules, discussing the UN rights of children and talking about what makes our schools Safe, Respectful and Engaging.
In the spring term the main focus of our topic will be celebrating 'cultural diversity.’
The exciting way that the curriculum in Wales works offers the pupils a chance to lead their curriculum. In year 4 we have been discussing what they would like to learn about during this topic and sharing their ideas, offering their pupil voice.

Times Tables - pupils are encouraged to practice their X tables weekly to aim for their Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
PE-
PE is a vital part of the cuirriculum. In Year 4B we currently have swimming sessions every Monday and PE sessions every Thursday morning. We encourage that the children wear their PE kits on the days they are timetable to have PE.
