International Awards
We are delighted to tell you that Crindau Primary School has been awarded the accreditation level of the British Council International Award. This reflects all the hard work that has gone into our international work across the school over the year including our community and parents. This is some of the feedback that we received on our work:
Thank you to everyone at Crindau Primary School, you have submitted a varied and full evaluation for the International School Award which meets all the necessary criteria.
It is pleasing to see that there is involvement both across the whole school and for more specific age groups but that this also includes a sharing of experience from which everyone can learn.
You clearly created a great impact across the community when you shared the Iftar Meal. The barriers that you have broken down with this action, your mother tongue work and the encouragement to wear traditional dress will have really reinforced your intent to include this international dimension and global focus within your curriculum.
Your mix of partner schools is exciting and the pupils obviously benefitted a great deal from the reciprocal visit by the headteacher from Lesotho.
Well done again and good luck with developing your curriculum further next year.
